James R. Geisler Middle School offers many clubs and activities that meet before, after, and during the school day. Joining a club is a great way for students to get more involved with their school community!

Cellphone Policy

Operating a distraction-free class is crucial to student learning. As a result, our building has established a quarterly cellphone policy.

  • 1st Violation: Warning
  • 2nd Violation: Lunch Detention
  • 3rd Violation: After-School Detention
  • 4th Violation: Saturday Detention
  • 5th Violation: Loss of Phone Privileges

Refocus Policy

Refocus is a process we utilize to increase student learning by minimizing classroom interruptions. It is positive, efficient, and been very effective for our school. Refocus visits are reset each semester.
