Who is Dr. James R. Geisler?
Dr. James R. Geisler was Superintendent of the Walled Lake Consolidated Schools from 1988 to 2006. He is a man of great integrity, vision, and character. Dr. Geisler played the leading role in Walled Lake Consolidated Schools moving to the forefront on education in the state of Michigan. He is a great role model for our students to emulate.
James R. Geisler Middle School was named a National and State School of Character Award winner in 2017.
We are the home of over 30 languages, multiple faiths, cultures, races and ethnicities.
With the leadership of our teachers, we are the home of Homework club; Fiddle Club; Jazz Band; multiple choral clubs; LINKS club; an amazing Variety Show; geography, science and spelling competitions; Future City participants and winners; Student Leadership; Random Acts of Kindness club; Junior National Honor Society; forensics club; Yugio club; and the social justice club.
