The Walled Lake Consolidated Schools’ administration appointed Kevin Zurro as interim assistant principal at James R. Geisler Middle School for the 2024-25 academic year.

The James R. Geisler Middle School student newspaper, The Geisler Chronicles, received national recognition by the American Scholastic Press Association (ASPA) as the top middle school newspapers in the country for the second-straight year.

James R. Geisler Middle School students and staff started their day on Friday with their 30th annual Flag Raising Ceremony.

Five elementary and two middle school students will compete in the Oakland Schools Scripps Regional Spelling Bee on Saturday at Oakland University.
